COP17 is taking place in Durban, South Africa, starting on Monday 28 November and ending on Friday 9 December. The official conference venue is at the International Conference Center. The main Civil Society Space (people’s space) is centered around the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).

Actions already planned include the Global Day of Action March on Saturday 3 December and International Food Sovereignty Day on Monday 5 December.
